Merge PDFs
Put separate PDFs together, in the order you need.
✓ Your files and inputs stay in your browser.
Your result
A little input.
And we’ll take it from here.
How to use it
Choose at least two PDFs, adjust the file order, and download one merged document.
A quick example
Combine a cover letter and a CV into one file, with the cover letter first.
Good to know
Up to 20 files and 50 MB total. Password-protected PDFs are unsupported. Interactive forms, bookmarks and digital signatures are not preserved as interactive features; use flattened copies.
Is it free?
Yes. No account, payment or file upload to a server is needed.
Merging documents for applications
Put the most important file first
Recruiters and officers often read only the first page. Put the cover letter or application form first, then supporting documents in the order the instructions list them.
Check the size limit after merging
Merged PDFs can go over the upload limits of job portals and government sites. If the result is too large, use smaller scans or fewer pages, or re-save scanned pages as images and use Images to PDF.
Flatten forms you filled in
If you filled a PDF form, print it to PDF first so your answers become part of the page. Otherwise the text you typed can disappear when the file is merged.
A little more clarity
Does merging PDFs change the page order?
Pages remain in their original order within each PDF. You control the order of the files using Move up and Move down. The combined PDF includes the pages from the first file, then the second, and so on.
Can I merge signed, protected or interactive PDFs?
Use unlocked, flattened documents. Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed here. Digital signatures will not remain valid, and interactive fields and document bookmarks are not preserved as interactive features. Keep the original copies of important documents.
