Your week, made simpler

Plan meals, not restrictions

This is an everyday meal-ideas tool for adults, not a weight-loss prescription or a medically tailored diet. Portions are starting points: adapt them to your appetite, activity and nutritional needs. For children, pregnancy, breastfeeding or conditions requiring a medical diet, work with a qualified dietitian.

What goes into your week?

Each day has breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack. The planner selects from a fixed recipe collection using your choices; it is not a nutritional assessment. It favours variety but may repeat meals when filters narrow the selection.

Before you shop

Amounts are per adult serving in the recipes; the grocery list totals all seven days for your selected number of servings. Grains and lentils are dry weights. Chickpeas and kidney beans are fully cooked, drained weights. Fruit weights are edible portions. Check your pantry and adjust pack sizes.

Time and budget

Times are estimates and exclude soaking, batch preparation and thawing. Quick rice meals need pre-cooked rice and beans. “Economical” uses staple ingredients, not a guaranteed rupee budget; local prices vary. Use plain ingredients and check any added seasoning for excluded allergens.

Using a meal plan that lasts

Plan around what you already cook

A plan works when it looks like your normal food. Keep your usual breakfasts and change one meal a day at first, rather than replacing everything at once.

Shop once from the list

Use the grocery list for one weekly shop and buy perishables like greens and curd in smaller amounts mid-week. This cuts waste and stops last-minute takeaway orders.

Talk to a professional for medical needs

This planner is for everyday healthy eating. If you have diabetes, kidney disease, are pregnant or have a serious allergy, follow advice from your doctor or a registered dietitian rather than a general plan.

A little more clarity

Is this a nutritionally complete diet?

No claim of nutritional completeness is made. The tool does not assess age, body size, activity, deficiencies or health conditions. Treat the plan as cooking inspiration. Vegan diets need particular attention to nutrients such as vitamin B12; discuss supplementation and individual needs with a qualified professional.

How are calories estimated?

Optional calorie figures are rough estimates for one adult serving, calculated from approximate ingredient energy values and the listed amounts. Brand, variety, edible yield and preparation can change actual values. They are not daily calorie targets or a validated nutrition analysis; check product labels when accuracy matters.

Will every non-vegetarian meal contain meat?

No. These plans also include plant-based meals. When matching recipes are available, chicken or fish is included on some days. Economical or quick settings may exclude those recipes; the result will tell you if your preferred protein type is unavailable.

Can I save the plan?

Use Print / save PDF for a printable week and grocery list. Download plan + list creates a plain-text file with ingredients and preparation notes. Your choices are not sent to a server or saved between visits.
